The Wake Forest Fire Department has broken gender barriers and welcomed a beautiful princess to the ranks.
While the uniform situation still needs to be worked out, the firefighters are excited to work with someone who might have a magic wand that could pickup glass and debris at accident scenes.
On the list next to be hired is a psychic who can tell which calls are false alarms before equipment and manpower are dispatched.
When asked about the article above, Chief Ron Early said, “You do realize none of that is true, right?”
Actually, “Engine #2 participated in the Kid I.D. Safety Cruise In event at My Place Restaurant on Saturday. The program offered Kid I.D. kits for $5.00 with all the proceeds, over $1700 in total, going to benefit the I&I International K9 Search and Rescue Team. The event was hosted by the Wake Forest Mustangs along with various local businesses as sponsors.”
I just couldn’t help myself with that awesome photo.
