JOB SUMMARY The Front Desk Team Member is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the company by delivering exceptional customer service to our members and providing support to all team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts as well ensure amenities are not abused.
Follow proper guest procedures when non-members visit the club.
Ensures that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate membership consultant in a prompt, professional manner.
Answers phone by the third ring in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques.
Addresses callers’ requests and/or takes appropriate messages.
Registers all telephone inquiries on the TI Log and transfers the call to the appropriate Membership Consultants.
Responds immediately to member requests, inquiries and concerns.
Enter sales transactions for members, including personal training, membership and amenity payments
Process member paperwork, including membership changes and electronic funds transfers
Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.
Distributes towels and other materials as needed.
Additional duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills are required
Understanding of basic accounting principles is required.
Understanding of basic cash processing procedures is required.
Functional computer skills are required.
Ability to multi-task is very helpful to successfully perform duties.
Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have experience in customer service
Experience in a health club or the hospitability industry is preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
