Local Wake Forest Artist Ticked Off to Raise Funds

Tammy sent in the following information, “I’d like to share with you a tidbit about my art show coming up for this month’s After After Hours offering, and would be most appreciative if you would be so kind as to mention it in your news outlet.

Last week, despite being on routine flea and tick preventative and daily skin checks, our dog, Frylie, was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Frylie is lucky – he has a family who can afford to pay his medical bills. But there are many other animals who are not so fortunate. Together we can help!

I’m the Guest Artist for July at The Artists’ Loft. My show, consisting of local landscapes handpainted in soft and oil pastels, will hang through the month of July, and a portion of all sales will be donated to the Good Samaritan Fund at Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care.

This fund helps pay emergency veterinary bills for companion animals and wildlife with urgent medical needs. The show’s Opening Reception is tomorrow evening, Friday, July 10, from 6-9 p.m. at The Artists’ Loft above Wake Forest Coffee, 156 South White Street in Wake Forest.”
