Ralph Woodard

Mr. Woodard was born January 31, 1932 to the late Flora Pittman and Clarence A. Woodard He was raised in Johnston County. Ralph was 54 year member of Neuse Baptist Church, where he drove the church bus for 20+ years. He enjoyed gardening and being in the outdoors.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main Street, Wake Forest. Officiating will be Pastor David Schaffer. Burial will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Woodard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Eason Woodard; his children, Jerry Woodard, and his wife, Betty, of Youngsville, Cynthia Storms, and her husband, Sedford, of Lumberton, NC, Debra Strickland, and her husband, Donald, of Youngsville, Teresa Stubblefield of Wake Forest; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Woodard was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

The family will receive visitors Saturday afternoon from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Bright Funeral Home.
