One injured in Durham carjacking

— Authorities said a woman was injured after a carjacking around 5:30 p.m. at 3825 S. Roxboro St. in Durham Wednesday afternoon.

Police said a man punched the victim, knocked her to the ground and stole her vehicle.

The suspect hit a car as he was leaving in the victim’s vehicle and also struck several other vehicles since the carjacking, according to officials.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
