RALEIGH, N.C. — Visitors will be able to tour North Carolina’s Executive Mansion for four days during the holidays.
From Thursday through Sunday, visitors will be able to tour the decorated mansion and enjoy music by local performers. The first floor will be decorated with North Carolina-grown Christmas trees, floral and mixed evergreen arrangements and ornate mantle displays.
Hours are: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday; noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free and reservations aren’t needed. Visitors should enter the main gates on Blount Street.
The Victorian-style mansion has been home to North Carolina’s governors since 1891. Twenty-nine governors and their families have lived there.
