Cary police search for “furry” bank robbery suspect

— Cary police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo Bank Tuesday.

Police said a man, wearing a brown fur trapper hat, a black cloth around his face and sunglasses, entered the bank at 1701 N. Harrison Ave. He demanded money from a teller and left the scene. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a black jacket and stood about 6 feet tall.

Anyone with information about the robbery ot the suspect is asked to call police at 919-469-4012 or Crime Stoppers at 919-460-4636.
