Police arrest Durham teen charged in November homicide

— A Durham teenager wanted in connection with a November homicide was arrested on Thursday, police said.

Corinthian Eddie Bowens, 16, was wanted on one count of murder, according to a news release from the Durham Police Department.

On Nov. 16, officers were dispatched to a call about a man lying in the street in the 1200 block of Scout Drive. The officers found a man, identified as 53-year-old Paul Jones, with an apparent gunshot wound. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bowens was placed in Durham County jail without bond.
