This afternoon an emergency call went out about an accident with injuries at the intersection of Galaxy Drive and Rt 98.

In the theme of Lowe’s, this is what we like to call a hammer and nail accident. It looks like the Buick SUV got nailed when the pickup truck hammered it.

Going to these accidents is educational, to say the least. Judging by the amount of damage to the front of the Dodge pickup truck versus the damage to the back of the Buick, buy a Buick.

The usual collection of emergency responders was on hand. We had the Wake Forest Police Department, Wake Forest Fire Department, and Wake County EMS.

Who knows if there was any painful whiplash incurred but on the scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is I just had my my leg cut off, it looked like a 2. It would have been a 1.75 but one of these drivers is going to take a late hit to their insurance premium so we bumped it up.
