Last Sunday, November 10, 2013, we were just on our way to Home Depot when we rounded the corner to find this in front of us. We must be like accident magnets.
And this certainly is not something you see every day around Wake Forest.
At first we thought the driver of the pickup truck was just listening to Lionel Richie too loud and started dancing on the ceiling.
It’s a fact, too much Lionel Richie can have a deleterious effect on you. We remember one night many years ago when an enthusiastic party at the apartment complex could not stop playing Richie’s hit Hello. The promise made was if the kids played it one more time after 1 AM and the previous 20 other times in a row we’d call the cops. We called the cops. Hello that!
But as it turns out the pickup driver from Youngsville was crossing Durham Road on Hampton Way when a Cary driver allegedly ran the red light and flipped the Ford truck over, giving EMS 10, and Wake Forest Engine 1 something to do on an otherwise quiet afternoon.
