Linden, N.C. — Authorities in Cumberland County responded to a suspected meth lab Thursday afternoon at a home in Linden.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Vera Drive at about 3 p.m. Deputies said they suspected explosives were also inside the home.
One man, whose name was not immediately available, was seen leaving the home in handcuffs.
Neighbors in the area hope the bust will help solve a growing problem.
“They need to crack down on it because it is not only here, it is any place that you go,” said Elizabeth Bowden who lives nearby. “If they don’t start cracking down on it then it is just going to get totally where it is going to be at anybody’s back door.”
The investigation is ongoing. No additional details were available.
