Fayetteville, N.C. — Detectives in Fayetteville are investigating a sexual assault that occurred early Sunday morning near Ramsey Street and Tokay Drive.
According to investigators, a woman was asleep in her home at about 12:45 a.m. when she heard someone knock on her door. The victim opened the door and was attacked by a man who forced himself into her home, and then assaulted her.
The suspect was described as taller than 5-foot-7, and was wearing dark clothes.
