Fayetteville, N.C. — A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in Fayetteville.
Fayetteville police said officers were investigating a crash on Cedar Creek Road near Troy Drive after a person was hit by a vehicle.
One northbound lane of Cedar Creek Road remained closed Wednesday night during the investigation. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
Police said the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
