Tuesday Night Wet Accident Between Two Trucks

An emergency call went out on Tuesday night for a collision of two trucks at the intersection of Old Falls of Neuse Road and Dr. Calvin Jones Highway.

You can listen to the call below.

The call went out for Wake Forest Engine 1, Wake Forest Ladder 1, and Wake Forest Battalion 1 to respond.

It appeared to be quite an impact between the two trucks.

It appeared to be quite an impact between the two trucks.

It was very difficult to see out at the intersection with all the rain coming down. Both Wake County Sheriff and Wake Forest Police were there controlling traffic since the accident was occupying a large amount of the intersection.

It appeared the airbags in both trucks had deployed so it must have been a sizable impact. An EMS unit was there and was treating those involved in the accident.

We looked around for the hot chocolate truck but none was found. Just saying, on nights like this we’d love to hear that Wake Forest Hot Chocolate Truck 1 was dispatched as well.
