A funny thing happened on the way to cover a fire in Rolesville, we ran into a bank robbery.
This afternoon the PNC Bank over near Heritage was robbed.

Police from at least Wake Forest and a K-9 unit from Zebulon were on the scene quickly to search for a suspect.

Despite active K-9 searching the suspect was not apprehended at the scene.

Wake Forest Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Wake Forest PNC Bank, 3619 Rogers Road, Wednesday.
The subject is seen in the surveillance images below and is wearing a navy blue zip up running jacket and white baseball cap. A white hooded sweatshirt is also visible.

Wake Forest Police have identified the man who robbed the Wake Forest PNC Bank, 3619 Rogers Road, Wednesday.
Tips from the public were instrumental in identifying the suspect as Lanson Paul Stalf.
An arrest warrant has been obtained charging Stalf, 37, with common law robbery. Public assistance is being sought as the investigation continues to locate and arrest him.
