Lawrence Wampler, 76, retired coal miner and truck driver, husband, father and grandfather passed away on Friday May 6, 2016 at Wake Med Center. Mr. Wampler was born in Mayking, KY son of the late Sally Adams Wampler and Emmit Bascom Wampler.
Grandpa Wampler is survived by his wife, Peggy Wright Wampler; children; Danny Wampler, Sally Hubbard, Melinda Smith, Monick Bell and Rebecca Burkett; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Medlin and Cathy Supplee.
A graveside funeral service will be held 1 o’clock Monday afternoon May 9, 2016 at Crafts Cemetery in Mayking, KY.
