Mebane, N.C. — Authorities said one person was struck by an Amtrak train in Mebane Saturday afternoon.
Sixty-seven people were on board the train at the time of the incident, but none were injured, officials said.
The train, Piedmont 74, travels daily between Raleigh and Charlotte.
The condition and identity of the victim have not been released. Officials said an investigation is ongoing.
