N. White Street Structure Fire Wakes Town Up

Around 8:30 AM this morning an old house caught fire on N. White Street in downtown Wake Forest. The property, owned by Babar Rehman & Aziz Ur is listed as being built in 1901.

The call went out for multiple units to respond. You can listen to the call below.

Equipment dispatched included Wake Forest Engine 1, Wake Forest Engine 2, Wake Forest Engine 3, Wake Forest Ladder 1, Wake Forest Rescue 3, and Rolesville Truck 153. Not to mention our own EMS 10 and an additional EMS unit from Eastern Wake.

Upon our arrival there was fire shooting out the roof and the blaze was quickly extinguished with a liberal application of water.

Both Rolesville and Wake Fore Fire Departments actively participated in putting the fire out quickly.

As far as the back story goes we will just have to live with an old house burned down. We will let the pictures below tell the story for you.
