North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory is doing it up big for his 25th wedding anniversary by taking his wife and leaving the State.
What he should have done was pack up the SUV and taken a short drive up to Wake Forest where he could have had some wonderful coffee, some delicious crabs, bought some fantastic art, and stayed in our cute little B&B for sale. Now that’s a special weekend to make a First Lady blush.
One unnamed source said, “He’s just the Governor. It’s not like he has to love living here.” When Wake Forest News pressed the source for more information, all they could share was, “Let’s just say what happens there, stays there.”
In McCrory’s absence the State will be under the careful and cautious hands of Lt. Governor Dan Forest and his very attractive wife Alice.
In the odd chance that something should happen to Forest, Bev Purdue has agreed to do some temp work as Governor till McCrory returns to North Carolina.
It is quite possible McCrory took the State jet and flew to Atlanta. At least that’s what the flight plan shows for the plane the NC Governor has used before.
