Beginning Monday, June 20, Cardinal Civil Contracting will close the portion of Longmont Drive between the private alley in the vicinity of Austin View Boulevard to approximately 400 feet east of Plott Hound Lane.
The closure is necessary to allow crews to install new water and sewer lines as part of phase eight of the Austin Creek Subdivision.
Detour signs and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct traffic around the work area. The contractor will maintain entrances and exits to local residents and their properties.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in early July.
