For those that might not be aware, a selfie is a picture one takes of themselves. And that’s exactly what this idiot did in Oakland, California after taking the smartphone of a victim at gunpoint during a mugging.
Apparently the mugger was not bright enough to understand cloud computing and how many devices can automatically upload pictures in the background to the owners account.
Einstein here took a beautiful picture, probably in his own backyard, that could serve as a mug shot if the camera was held just a bit higher.
Police said the female victim was walking down the street in the 2100 block of East 28th Street around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 19 when two men armed with handguns approached her and demanded her cellphone and necklace. They then ran away. – Source
Oakland police are looking for the man, who was described to be between 17 and 21 and about 5-foot-4 and 150 pounds. Oh, and he has solid gold covering his upper and lower teeth. But then again a picture is worth a thousand words so just take a good look again at the selfie in you live in Oakland, California.
Oakland police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is urged to call the Oakland police robbery and assault unit at (510) 238-3326.
