July 19, 2016
Engine #1 responded mutual aid to Youngsville for a two story shed fire. Engine #1 assisted YFD with fire extinguishment and clearing debris out of the burnt out building. No injuries were reported.

Engine #4 responded with Youngsville Fire Department to an overturned tractor trailer near the county line on Capital Blvd. When units arrived they found a tractor trailer laid on its side completely blocking the southbound lanes and had thrown its load of potting soil out of the trailer. The driver was uninjured and Capital Blvd remained closed for a couple of hours until the truck and soil could be cleaned up.
