On Saturday around 2:40 PM emergency responders were dispatched for a car that appeared to lose control on a wet Ligon Mill Road curve near the corner of Greenville Loop Road.
The car was headed towards Wake Forest when it looks like, for whatever reason, it decided to try its hand at speed skating.
The car wound up sliding mostly sideways till it reached the point of impact, a bush and power pole support wire. The airbags deployed.
While we did not see the driver, they were being looked at my Wake EMS 15.









I live in that neighborhood. We have a wreck at that same spot every month due to the lack of visibility coming into that tight corner.
