Raleigh, N.C. — A water main break prompted officials to close several lanes on Capital Boulevard Monday morning near Wade Avenue.
Around 9:30 a.m., officials closed the southbound lanes of Capital Boulevard near Wade Avenue and Fairview Road.
Officials say the repair will take hours, and the lanes are not expected to reopen until 3 p.m. Traffic will be diverted at Atlantic Avenue.
Motorists are being asked to consider alternate routes.
