The cops must just love Facebook and other social media outlets when guys like Jules Bahler are around.
A string of bank robberies in the Pontiac, Michigan area had police officers on the hunt for the suspect. The last robbery was on March 5, 2014 when the suspect robbed the Bay City Columbus Branch of Chemical bank and walked away with $7,000.

On March 6, 2014 an alert Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy, Sergeant Hunt, spotted a picture on Facebook of Jules Bahler wearing clothes matching what the bank robber had on and holding a machine gun that looked like the one the robber had been waving around.
Bahler’s Facebook page also contained a picture of his house and shoutout saying “Bought my first house And chopper today..lifes great.”
About a week before he had also posted on Facebook, “Trina contreras im sorry all these broads and this money dosnt mean a thing standin next to u I love u an an will never stop I can any any thing but all I want u the boys a family u got a nigga readyto settle for life. let me be ur shoulder ur ur rock give me the liberty to be yours to just enjoy your life..with u ive never met a woman who van do this to me look how hard im tryin.. trina I love an only u please love me.”
I’m not quite sure what he was trying to say but apparently he had a thing for Trina and liberty wasn’t in the cards.
Looks like he was lying about the money thing since the day before he had committed his first bank robbery at Genisys Credit Union. Trina is probably better off without him at this point.
Sadly, Bahler joined Facebook just about a month before he was selfie busted. That didn’t take long.
The lesson to be learned here is don’t buy a motorcycle in Pontiac, Michigan in March and homeownership can lead to jail.
