DMV’s Mobile Driver’s License Unit Returns to Renaissance Centre Dec. 5

The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles’ Mobile Driver’s License Unit returns to the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre Arts Annex, 405 S. Brooks St., on Monday, Dec. 5. The mobile unit will be on site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The compact mobile office is part of a statewide initiative to improve customer service and reduce wait times at the DMV.  

Featuring two driver license examiner stations, the new mobile office offers all the driver license services provided in brick-and-mortar offices, including driving tests.

The Renaissance Centre Arts Annex typically hosts the Mobile Driver’s License Unit on the first and third Monday of each month. The mobile office will return to Wake Forest on Monday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m.
