Raleigh, N.C. — A water main break on Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh is scheduled to be repaired by Friday evening, but the road won’t open again until Sunday.
Rock Quarry Road is closed between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Interstate 40 because of the break. Officials said the road will remain closed through 9 a.m. on Sunday to give crews time to fix the asphalt, too.
Detour signs are in place to direct drivers around the closure.
