Car and Motorcycle Cruise In Fundraiser on Saturday, April 5th Sponsored by My Place Restaurant to Benefit The Shore Grief Center

On Saturday April 5th, My Place Restaurant and Tavern will sponsor a Car and Motorcycle Cruise In Fundraiser for The Shore Grief Center. The cruise in will start at 11:00 am and wrap up at 2:00 pm.

Date: Saturday, April 5, 2014
Location: My Place Restaurant and Tavern, 2108 S. Main St., Wake Forest
Time: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Cars of all makes and models are welcome as well as motorcycles. There will be plenty of parking at My Place located at 2108 S. Main St. in Wake Forest (located between Arby’s and Walmart). Emcee Tommy Keith of Creedmoor Cruise In will commandeer the event.

My Place Restaurant and Tavern will be celebrating its one-year anniversary and will run specials all day. It will be donating portions of its sales to The Shore Grief Center.

The Shore Grief Center will have a Kiddie Korral offering a balloon artist and arts and crafts for the younger set.

There will be a 50/50 drawing as well as door prizes and freebies for car and bike owners. Lizard Lick Towing will be donating goodies as well!

The fundraiser will benefit The Shore Grief Center, which provides grief support groups for kids, teens, and adults who have lost someone important in their lives. The groups are held in local churches as well as in Franklin County schools. There is no charge to attend the groups since grief recovery should not come with a price tag.
