Wake Forest Actor Abbey Cornell a Real Local Kick Ass Movie Star

By most common observations the 4′ 4″ Abigail Cornell is just another cute Wake Forest resident. But what most people don’t know is that not only is she an actor with credits already but also an excellent academic student who can kick your ass with her Tae Kwon Do black belt skills. If I needed a little innocent looking street protection I’d bring Abbey along, for sure.

The Wake Forest powerhouse began acting at age five and landed a role in a feature film Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Abbey was cast as the four-year-old Renesmee, the child of a couple of cute and sexy vampires.

Abbey has a new film role set to hit a local movies screen, that is if Wake Forest residents can get behind this film and pre-order some tickets to see the film on April 10th at the Carmike 15 in Raleigh.

This independent film is a faith-based action film which is sure to get your blood pumping. In the film, Paul is determined to find and kill Peter, the enemy of his leader. However, a terrible accident—and a miraculous intervention—lead him on a journey of self-discovery where he learns to love the true Way. Set in an apocalyptic future, this dramatic film retells the life of the apostle Paul.

In “My Name is Paul” Abbey expertly plays Clare. According to Director Trey Ore, the film has been a long journey from a short film concept to feature film to the sequel set to film in 2015.

Ore said, “As for Abigail, she is The Next Big Thing. She has the acting chops to give any of them a run for their money. She comes to set prepared, a true professional and a joy to see what she will bring. A Director’s dream.”
