Wake Forest to Get a Very Cool Tru by Hilton Hotel

As part of my ongoing coverage of Wake Forest development plans under review and planning actions, here is another. You can find all past stories, here.

The Town of Wake Forest has a very professional and talented staff that handles these issues. If you have any questions regarding any of the information below, I’m sure they would be happy to answer your questions. You can contact the Town here.

Tru by Hilton

New public records show a four story hotel is planned for the Wake Forest Crossing shopping center on Capital Blvd.

This is pretty exciting stuff. The Tru by Hilton hotel chain is just coming to the United States. Wake Forest would be among the first locations.

It appears from the Hilton website that Tru hotels are a cross between the hip and funky Aloft hotels and an affordable stay hotel. The lobbies have areas to work and meet. Even separate workspace hives.

We will have to wait and see what the hotel in Wake Forest would specifically have.

The hotel is planned to be built behind where current retail construction is occurring.
