Food Truck Vendor Meeting Rescheduled for March 6

town news

Due to the potential for icy roads and unsafe driving conditions, the food truck informational meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 10, has been postponed until Monday, March 6. The session will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the ground floor meeting room at the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St. The meeting room is most easily accessed via town hall’s Taylor Street entrance.

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is encouraging all local food and dessert truck vendors interested in participating in PRCR events to attend the meeting. A variety of topics will be covered, including how to vend with the PRCR Department, policies and procedures, background checks, food truck set up and more.

Advocates for Health in Action (AHA) Project Coordinator Michele McKinley will also provide a short presentation entitled “Providing Healthy Food Options.”

Registration is required at wakeforestnc.recdesk.com.
