At 12,000+ acres, Falls Lake is the perfect remedy for anyone with an itch to explore some of what this state has to offer. From boating to fishing and everything in between, you can join many other residents on the 5,000+ acres of shoreline across the lake.

Do you want to take a walk in the park? E. Carroll Joyner Park, which opened in 2009, is one of the largest parks in Wake County. Located on 117 acres this park offers approximately 3 miles of paved walkways and about as many attractions as you could imagine. There is a 2,000 foot stone ribbon wall, restored log cabins and a 1,000 seat amphitheater to appeal to all outdoor lovers!

Wake Forest has so much to offer for such a small town. It is no wonder that it is finally getting the national spotlight it deserves.
