What went out as an accident with injuries thankfully turned out to be just a tragic accident in the Austin Creek subdivision without injuries.
A beautiful gray Hyundai was driven by a young female driver. Her first car in fact. And while rounding the corner on to Plott Hound Lane she was apparently struck by a now frustrated cable guy. When I left he had his head in his hands.
The cable guy had a sticker that said he’d served in Desert Storm. This event kind of pales in comparison to that.
Local residents said that people don’t stop at the stop sign the truck had approached. And it appears the truck substantially cut the corner short.
Wake Forest Fire Department had been dispatched but the young female driver refused treatment. Wake Forest Police Department had everything professionally under control.
