The three men allegedly broke into several residences while no one was home and stole electronics, jewelry and money. According to police, some of the stolen property has been recovered.

Police officials say their investigation was aided by citizens who called to provide tips and report suspicious activity.

“We rely on our citizens to be the eyes and ears of the department and encourage them to call us anytime they see something suspicious,” said Police Chief Jeff Leonard.

“We’d rather our citizens call and be wrong than not call and miss the chance to prevent a crime.”

Wyche, 17, Jones, 19, and Moody, 20, are being held at the Wake County Jail. Bond for Wyche and Jones is set at $50,000, while bond for Moody is $15,000.

The investigation continues and further charges are pending, so no additional information is available at this time.

Anyone witnessing or experiencing suspicious activity is urged to contact the Wake Forest Police Department at 919-554-6150. You may remain anonymous.
