Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. will sponsor the 2017 Wake Forest Charity Car Show on Saturday, June 17, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Produced for the benefit of several area charities, this free, family-friendly event will take place along South White Street in historic downtown Wake Forest.
Presented by Grand Sponsor Chris Leith Dodge/Ram, the exhibit will showcase vehicles of all makes and models, including muscle cars, sports cars, pony cars, classic and antique autos, street rods and trucks. The car show will also feature a ‘Take-Apart-T’ Model T assembly demonstration, the Leith Kia Monster Truck on display, and the Wake Forest Fire Department’s Jaws of Life demonstration.
Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets to win a gift certificate for a new set of tires valued up to $800 courtesy of Chris Leith Dodge/Ram (includes mounting, balance and disposal fees). Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and will be available at the Wake Forest Downtown tent throughout the day. You need not be present to win.
Admission to the car show is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, the exhibit may be rescheduled for Saturday, June 24.
Anyone wishing to enter a vehicle in the car show may register on the day of the event anytime between 8 and 11 a.m. The vehicle entry area will be situated at the intersection of South White Street and Elm Avenue. The registration cost is $20 per vehicle.
