It seems Sam’s Club may actually be coming to Wake Forest. Some despise the idea while many love the fact a warehouse club will be located so close. Think of it like this, it’s just Walmart except they only half unpack the stuff from the shipping boxes.
The proposed structure will be a one story commercial building that is 139,000 square feet of toilet paper, printer cartridges, avocados, frozen burritos, shoplifting prevention, and some sexy night-clothes. Yea, I totally made up the sexy stuff comment.
According to the site plan the location may have gas pumps since there is a reference to a “gasoline canopy” and call me crazy but I doubt it is a canopy made of gasoline.
Like it or not it seems a number of area residents will soon be buying paper towels in bulk here in Wake Forest rather than have to drive to a distant BJ’s, Costco, or Sam’s Club.
Not 100% sure but since the Walmart has the Murphy USA gas so close, they may not try to do the gas station at the club itself.

I love this plot of land they are about to build on. I wish they would re-zone it for a park or something, but oh well. More traffic for Caveness Farms / Estates at Wake Forest residence, it is! 😛
