I’d love to tell you this was a horrific and intense accident. But if I did, I’d be lying. Thankfully it just appears two strangers had an opportunity to meet and get to know each other a little better.
It did not appear that anyone was injured. But then again I didn’t see an ambulance. It could be one left before I got there.
The most exciting thing that happened was, whatever big company is on Perry Chapel Church Road, they got all concerned I might take a picture of a sign that said who they are. Why they got worked up over that I have no clue since this accident happened in the center of a public road. But whatever.
As a little bonus I did get a chance to meet a very lovely PR representative named Paige.
Franklinton Rescue & EMS and Franklinton Fire Department was on scene along with members of the Franklin County Sheriff’s office.
I think I’ve said it before but for those that live in the Franklinton area you have one great group of first responders up there that handle the situations like a boss.
Brooms broke out, leaks were controlled and the first responders went home.
I did however manage to stop at a very nice fruit and vegetable stand on the side of the road and get a deal on corn, squash, and watermelon. That made it not a wasted trip.
