At about 12:30 PM on Monday witnesses reported a driver driving on Dr. Calvin Jones Highway missed a red light while driving a Lincoln Town Car and unfortunately collided almost dead-on the passenger door of a car turning left onto Galaxy Drive. I do not believe there was a passenger in the car that was struck.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital for additional care.
As always, we will have to wait for the official accident report from the Wake Forest Police Department to get the final word on the cause of the accident.
