A funeral service will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, October 29, 2017, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Walker and Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ray is survived by her sister, Frances B. Hudson; her nephew, Steven Wheeler; and several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Woodland Baptist Church, 190 Woodland Church Rd., Wake Forest, NC 27587 or to Transitions Life Care Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
The family would like to thank all of the care givers for everything they did during this time for Mrs. Ray.
