Police Department to resume fingerprinting service March 15

Town of Wake Forest News

The Wake Forest Police Department (WFPD) will resume providing live scan fingerprinting service to the public on Thursday, March 15. The department suspended the service in January in order to upgrade its fingerprinting equipment.

The Police Department offers the service on Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. at the WFPD Main Station, 225 E. Taylor St. The cost is $10 for Wake Forest residents and $15 for non-Wake Forest residents.

For more information, contact Theresa Jusino at 919-435-9597 or tjusino@wakeforestnc.gov.

Area residents also have two other local fingerprinting service options, including the Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification (CCBI) and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Raleigh/Wake CCBI, 3301 Hammond Road, Raleigh, offers fingerprinting service daily from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The fee is $15. Walk-ins are accepted, but priority is given to previously-scheduled appointments. For more information or to make an appointment, call 919-856-6300.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, 285 T Kemp Road, Louisburg, offers fingerprinting services to the public during normal business hours. The cost is $10, and the telephone number is 919-496-2186.
