Want to Help Kids With Autism and See a Horse in Costume?

halloween_horseI’m all about helping kids with issues. Who can’t be behind supporting that. But this offer also comes with horses in costumes. Not sure how I feel about that. I’m already freaked out by clowns and I think this falls into the weird category.

But if you are into that kind of thing and want to have some fabulous fall fun then pay attention.

The Shepherd Youth Ranch is having a fall family festival on Sunday October 26th from 2:00-5:00. They’d like for you to come meet the horses and enjoy ice cream from Lumpys, hot dogs from Hometown Cafe, games from Field & Stream, music, prizes, face painters, a square dance caller, horses in costumes and storytellers. Located near Wake Forest in Franklinton at 105 Cedar Creek Road.

Shepherd Youth Ranch is a 501 c3 non-profit organization that rescues horses and pairs them with youth that have mental health needs, autism or are at-risk.
