Area residents are invited to listen to great music and dine outside, all the while enjoying the spring season, during Wake Forest’s Music at Midday weekly concert series.
Co-sponsored by the Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department and Wake Forest ARTS, the free music series begins Thursday, May 10, and continues on consecutive Thursdays through May 31.
Scheduled from noon-1 p.m., Music at Midday will feature a variety of local performers and take place in Centennial Plaza, the gateway to the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
This year’s concert lineup includes Honey Magpie on May 10; Freddy Greene Trio on May 17; DRL Band on May 24; and Big Bang Boom on May 31.
Assorted dessert trucks will be on site during each concert selling desserts and sweet treats.
Area residents are encouraged to bring lunch – either from home or a local restaurant – relax, and enjoy the entertainment during Music at Midday.
