The Wall That Heals (TWTH) Planning Committee is now utilizing Facebook to expand its outreach and communications efforts about The Wall That Heals coming to Wake Forest.
According to TWTH Planning Committee Co-Chair Mandy Duguid, the popular social media site offers an effective means of communicating directly with both Wake Forest residents and non-residents concerning events and activities related to TWTH’s October 18-21 appearance in Wake Forest.
“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to connect with the Wake Forest community and beyond via Facebook,” said Duguid. “Social media offers us an excellent way to engage people and encourage them to learn more about The Wall That Heals.”

A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Wall That Heals is coming to E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 18-21. Free and open to the public, the exhibit will be available 24-hours-a-day beginning 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, through 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21.
The Wall That Heals honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in the Vietnam War and bears the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
