Frank E. Koss, 92, died Friday Morning, June 8, 2018, at Brookdale of North Raleigh. He was born March 13, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and retired as a product manager after 38 dedicated years of service, from IBM. Frank was an all-round handyman, cook and mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Steven.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Inurnment will follow in Pine Forest Memorial Garden, Wake Forest, with military honors.
He is survived by; his wife, of 72 years, Elizabeth Forrester Koss of Raleigh; two sons, David and Pauline Koss of Wake Forest, Roger and Linda Koss of Raleigh; a daughter, Shannon and Kenneth Curtin of Louisburg; five grandchildren, Gary, Tracy, Matthew, Frank and Shannon; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Frank will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St, Wake Forest, (919) 556-5811
