Rose Johnson, 52, passed away on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of Ella Sue Perry and the late Malcolm Junious Chatman. Rose worked at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest.
A memorial service will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon July 14, 2018 at the home of Gilbert and Ella Beddingfield 839 Mill Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Rose is survived by her children: Eric Chatman of Wake Forest, Kelly Johnson of Louisburg, Erica Troxler of Va. and Jessica Purvis of Henderson, her mother and step-father, Ella Sue and Gilbert Beddingfield of Wake Forest, sisters: Mary Sue Ashworth of Wake Forest and Cheryl Reedy of Wilton, step-brother; John Beddingfield of Wake Forest, step-sisters: Margaret Ann Meier of Youngsville and LouAnn Johnson of Louisburg, step-brother, Gilbert Beddingfield, Jr. of Wake Forest.
Memorial contributions can be made to Ella and Gilbert Beddingfield to help with the funeral expenses.
