Wake Forest welcomes spring by offering a wonderful array of warm weather events and activities for the entire family.
From the Wake Forest Outdoors series that includes the Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Seedling Giveaway, Dirt Day and HerbFest to the Easter Egg Hunt, Six Sundays in Spring and Meet in the Street, springtime in Wake Forest is jam-packed with fun-filled, outdoor events guaranteed to shake the winter blues.
To help inform Wake Forest area residents about all these upcoming events, the town has created a “Celebrate Spring in Wake Forest” portal on its website. Located at www.wakeforestnc.gov/celebrate-spring-in-wake-forest.aspx, the web page provides detailed information about our area’s most popular springtime happenings. Offering dates, times, locations, event descriptions and more, the portal is a useful resource for anyone planning to take advantage of Wake Forest’s variety of warm weather activities.
But that’s not all.
Android and iPhone users can have a handy pocket guide to this year’s springtime events in the palm of their hands by downloading the Town of Wake Forest app and using the app’s “Celebrate Spring in Wake Forest” function. Designed to offer smart phone users instant access to all the town’s warm weather happenings, including Wake Forest Outdoors, the Easter Egg Hunt, Six Sundays in Spring, Meet in the Street, the Historic Cemetery Walking Tour and Wake Forest Charity Car Show – just to mention a few.
IPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and Android users can download the town’s free app by searching for “Town of Wake Forest” on iTunes, in the iPhone app store, or in Google Play or by scanning the appropriate QR code provided at www.wakeforestnc.gov/app.aspx.
