PRCR Department to offer free Zumba class Sept. 10

Town of Wake Forest News

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will host a free Zumba demonstration class on Monday, Sept. 10, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Wake Forest Community House, 133 W. Owen Ave.

Zumba is a dance-like exercise program in which participants perform aerobic and strengthening exercises to the beat of lively music.

Fall Zumba classes begin the week of Sept. 17, and the cost is a $5 drop-in fee. The free Zumba demonstration on Sept. 10 will allow participants to give the class a “test drive” by experiencing its pace and level of intensity.

No registration is required.
