On Monday, Sept. 17, at approximately 1 a.m., Wake Forest Police arrested Arthur Vladimir Kochetkov, 33, at 6212 Tiffield Way without incident. Kochetkov was charged with communicating threats for statements made via Facebook. Initially, he was being held in the Wake County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
Earlier today, however, following a request for bond modification by the Wake County District Attorney’s office, conditions of release in the State v. Arthur Vladimir Kochetkov case were revised to include a $100,000 secured bond with pretrial release monitoring, a mental health evaluation and prohibitions against being on the property of the Jones Dairy Elementary School.
Kochetkov remains in custody at the Wake County Detention Center charged with one count of communicating threats in violation of N.C.G.S. 14-277.1.
The Wake Forest Police Department is continuing to work with the Wake County District Attorney’s office and other local, state and federal authorities to investigate this incident. This investigation is ongoing.
