Lib Woodlief DeMent, 88, passed away on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Bessie Hudson Woodlief and William Maurice Woodlief. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Mack DeMent, Sr. and a son Ricky DeMent.
A funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon September 30, 2018 at the Youngsville Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in the Youngsville Town Cemetery.
Lib is survived by her sons: Tommy Dement of Youngsville, Wallace Mack DeMent, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Knightdale; grandchildren: Jamie Holcomb and husband Richard, Devon DeMent, Melissa Vercoe and husband James, Brian D. DeMent and fiancée Ariel, and Chris Burke; and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Youngsville Baptist Church P.O. Box 297 Youngsville, NC 27596.
Friends may visit with the family from 1-2 prior to the service in the church fellowship building.
