Richard “Jim” Hailey, 77, of Wake Forest passed away on Monday October 1, 2018 at Rex Hospital. Jim Was born in Wake County the son of the late Nellie Allen Hailey and Melvin Hailey.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon October 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with Dr. Al Hood officiating.
Jim is survived by his wife; Rebecca “Becky” Hailey, daughters; Tanya Sustarsic and her husband Charles of Locus Grove, GA, Jennifer Hailey of Wake Forest, a son; Jonathan Hailey of Wake Forest, sisters; Jeraldine Heath and her husband Charles, Betty Lou Harp and her husband Linwood all of Wake Forest, a brother; Albert Hailey and his wife Carol of Wake Forest, grandchildren; Alyssa Warren and Emma Hailey.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family that has helped them during Jim’s sickness.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:30-2:00 prior to the service on Friday at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Wake Forest, NC.
